All our soldiers receive driver training to qualify on our fleet of vehicles for on and off-road driving.

Once soldiers have finished their basic training, they can attend driving courses. Once qualified to drive military vehicles on the road, there is further off-road driver training at military cross country training areas.

“When I joined the Squadron, I could not even drive a car. The army paid and trained me and now I have all the civilian licenses up to articulated lorry and I am a fork lift truck instructor."
